I have now settled into a medieval groove in my classroom. The students are in the thrall of such alter egos as the Phonics Fool, the Word Warrior, Ali Baba Book Bandit, and Merlin the Mathemagicain. Mother, Dustin, Jaymie and I mounted dozens of play swords, axes, and armour, paper torches, flags, castle walls and all manner of epic decour on the classroom walls.
In the meantime, I have been busily arting away. In the next few days you, noble blogger, will discover the niftiness that is my August/September portfolio beginning with my sabbath painting.

Thanks, ninja warrior. Glad to know you wouldn't want C. to leave but it's okay for me to go. Warm fuzzies! By the way - cool classroom theme (as usual). :)
I really miss everyone A LOT. I've made some friends but it's not the same. I think I'll be able to be better friends with some of the locals rather than the Americans - when there are only 11 Americans, the options are limited. :)
